To make paper corner boards, slip sheets, and honeycomb paper, we need to use PVA glue, we usually recommend our clients buy full ICB tanks. Before we use it, we need to mix it. Both pneumatic mixing machines and electric mixing machines are available.
We have offline die notching or die punching machines for angle boards, besides we have different cardboard edge protector recutters for cutting long pieces into small angle boards. One recutter for small orders, one type for bulk orders.
How shall we test the strength and hardness of edge protectors? In China, there is a standard of edge boards, it shows the dimension tolerance, weight, moisture content, and strengths. We have instruments for testing it. Normally we checked the vertical pressing and horizontal pressing strength.
We all know that the paper edge board machine can be used for 10-20 years, it has developed from pneumatic cutting to high-speed servo cutting. The disadvantage of pneumatic cutting is that it couldn’t cut short pieces, it cuts 800-1000mm shortest. Can we modify the pneumatic cutting into servo cutting? Normally it is not so easy to update the pneumatic cutting to servo cutting, we have to change the whole cutting unit and the control system. Especially for those abroad machines, programmers have to go to the site to adjust the program.
Why do people buy the edge board cutting machines when it can be cut inline? We all know that the long piece the edge board machine cuts， the faster speed it runs， and the higher productivity we get. Besides, for those which have run for more than 10 years, the pneumatic cutter was mostly used, it can only cut long pieces, in this case, for short pieces order, we need an edge board recutting machine too
