1. Inspection of rollers bearing parts:
A). Hold the shaft end of the guide roller with your hand, and check with force in the forward and backward directions to confirm whether there is any looseness. If there is any looseness, you need to remove the guide roller and replace the bearing;
- .Hold the rollers by hand, and check with force in the left and right directions to confirm whether there is any axial movement.
- .Rotate the guide roller by hand to confirm whether the guide roller rotates smoothly and whether there is any abnormal noise;
- Regularly feeding lubricating oils to bearings and chains
- Checking the knives every 2-3 months, when the knives are worn out, or couldn’t cut clean, changing new knives.
- When slitting machine stops working for long time, clean the whole machine, applying anti-rust oil and cover the whole machine with a plastic cover.
- Be careful when we change new knives, don’t put the shaft directly on the ground, it will break knives
- Clean the control cabinets regularly
- When the brakes are hot, check the fans inside.
- When the chucks couldn’t hold paper roll firmly, check the friction plates and change new ones.
- Check the battery of the PLC, when the low battery light ON, change a new battery.
- Make sure the cooling fan of the electrical control cabinet is working properly
- Clean hydraulic station and change new oil every year if possible.
