I was often requested to modify or update their old edge protector machine with a new servo cutting unit, why did I refuse them always?
1st, different companies have different programs， for those machines which are not made by us， we don’t know their program， to let the machine works fluently， we have to make a new cutting unit with an independent control cabinet. In this way, it increases the control system cost.
2nd, modifying a machine needs a programmer to go to the site to adjust and modify the system and change the coefficients or parameters per actual running of each machine, for internal clients, the round way flight tickets, hotel, food, and domestic traveling increase the total cost of modifying.
3rd, we have offline cutting machines to improve productivity or compensate for the extra functions.
How to improve and compensate?
We have offline die notching or die punching machines for angle boards, besides we have different cardboard edge protector recutters for cutting long pieces into small angle boards. One recutter for small orders, one type for bulk orders.
Apart from the edge protector recutter, we also have the die notching machine along with the recutter, it can do cutting and notching at the same time.
